That's some collection of unmade sets. I'd be happy if I had that.

Between the Friends apartments, the creator castle, the new Harry Potter wave and now the Daily Bugle... The next few weeks are going to be expensive! Lego should just take money direct from my salary at this point

You mentioned Harry Potter and I'd just been looking at this https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0813QWS29 not a kit I'd seen before. I follow lego bargains for neighbors kids. Luckily don't have to spend my money on them.

Edit> Sorry checked it again and not available here :o

Wake me up when it's all over.

Haha no worries, my kids are actually reading that book at the moment

I see from the email that Looney Tune minifigures are out. They look neat, must have a real effort at getting them. I had no interest in the minifigs before the Harry Potter Series 2 set from Sept/Oct last year. I think I saw a post about them on here, I'm blaming you lot anyway.

Can anyone tell me if this is a good deal or not https://www.amazon.co.uk/LEGO-42100-Toy-Multicolour/dp/B07NDBGW4G/ £302.62 at checkout.

Its on a list for recommendation for some neighbors kids with a dad who is an engineer.

Who will play with it most? Your guess is as good as mine :)

Pandering to this new woke culture bullsh!t.

    Definitely passing on that.

That's pretty cool looking, while normally I wouldn't be interested in sets purely for their aesthetic I may pick this up, I definitely won't let some faux outrage about woke bull**** stop me anyway!

I doubt Lego are making this to pander to anything other than their wallets. Who cares either way at the end of the day who the target audience is?

It's a visually striking set and I will definitely be picking it up.

It's like saying Lego are pandering to petrolheads by releasing the Porsche 911 :D
Agree with you, their target audience is people who will buy their products

Politics don't bother me but it's a truly horrible looking set.

The minifgures are lost on the backdrop (and I'm sure that's intentional) but it's rank to look at.

It may have been improved if they incorporated that "Everyone is Awesome" into the design.

I see the Daily Bugle set was mentioned earlier - it's on the site - listed for 1st June. It's big all right - 3770 Pieces.

Think I'll go for the bugle next. Had considered the friends set, looks fun but the finished article doesn't look that visually appealing to me.

The bonsai tree is back in stock in case anyone had beem waiting on it.

Has anyone done any of the nijango builds? The nijango city gardens set looks fun.

A nice feature of the Daily Bugle set is that it fits with the other modular building sets. Hopefully the falling window cleaner section can be built as fixed or removed.

The designer has already confirmed that it can be restored with the pieces in the box.

In sports direct in Charlestown they have some of the new ninjago sets out and Infinity War lego sets out. Seem to be put out a few days early as not a June release.

    Sports Direct sell Lego?

I was hoping to find some of the new sets in Smyths Fonthill but the que to get in was absolutely massive (around the corner past Elverys) so didn't even bother looking.
