    any know what was the name of the Disco @ Bridge Hotel before it was call Xanadu & Breens???

    From memory of the late 80's on visits to Waterford The Peppermint Grove was in the Bridge Hotel with the entrance on Bridge Street and Xanadu's was also in the Bridge but it's entrance was in O'Connell Street. Someone should be able to confirm it.

    it was Xanadus after a refurb, joining to to Pepperment grove, but what was it called before Xanadus, i just remember it as breens

    think i gave Jim and George McGee enough money to open his pub in Wexford! ahh- back in the day when discos were full at 10pm - if you were not in the pub by 7.30 - ur friends were gone some where else - and guess what - you didnt have a mobile phone to call them!!!!! those were the days

    it brings back memories ok good and bad, anyone remember SAX on o'connel st, now that was a ****e hole :pac:

    But would have to say that the old stonecourt was great, also the old reg was good too
