Hi I was surprised to see the following translation in http://www.irishdictionary.ie/ for "imigh leat" (IM-ee lat) Which would you say is correct. Imigh leat! = piss off! Imigh leat = , be off with you (http://www.erinsweb.com/gaelic30.html) or does it just depends on context? GRMA

Maybe not piss off, but the phrase does carry a certain amount of oomph. It means more than just "go away".

I'd agree with Gumbi - especially when it's used as part of the well-known phrase "Imigh leat ta fuk!"
