    I have been following this guy for a while and may have posted on him before, he is pretty amazing even casting his own prop but how he is still alive is beyond me :eek: He has lots of videos on youtube if you want go through them from the start http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=61n9Gkgj-Q4&feature=player_embedded This is where he is now and only just about surviving :eek:

    But in all seriousness, this guy looks amazing, fair play to him. I couldn't imagine the problems that would crop up building even a small boat, so this one just looks crazy. Good luck to him, I think I'll definitely start following this guy, thanks fergal.

    I have to admit, my main goal is to, at some stage, build my own boat, and it's guys like him (and fergal :pac:) that encourage me.

    EDIT: I couldn't possibly moving this boat when it's done. I wonder if he has?

    I've just spent the last couple of hours reading through the many different sections on that site?
    what an amazing guy and what a great attitude to life.
    He really has a "can do" attitude. Not unlike yourself Fergal!

    good oul doug is a can do guy. the cost of building one that size must be mad money just for tools and equipment

    I love this guy's work and the way all the family is involved but how they are all still alive is be beyond me :eek: I'm at the edge of my seat when I watch him work but I hope he stays alive to finish the boat:D
