Just watching this now..... looks to me as if they've just started broadcasting halfway through the series...... professional kitchen after one round, what's that about

I wanted to see all the disasters/complete ****-ups that come with the auditions/early rounds

Yeah it was a bit of a damp squib to be honest.

The blonde girl is eerily calm.....

(I can't help but remember back to the days of Sinéad on MCI )

I didn't really enjoy tonight's show tbh. Can't exactly say why but I thought them going to a professional kitchen so early in the series was unnecessary.

It's hard at the start, until you start to get the hang of the different personalities, but tonight's show was definitely odd in the overall MC scheme (and I've watched a LOT of them!).

Did I hear right just at the end that those two have won themselves a quarter-final place? Maybe they did start the series half way through after all!

My Sky Planner says that last nights was 1/23. At 2-3 per week, it looks like it will be a long series.

The last 2 seasons were 15 episodes each.

Really? I don't know if I'm going to enjoy it all so. I find the focus on 2-3 individuals a bit of a bore to be honest. Could be completely wrong though!

    That's exactly what I thought!.....

The standard was pretty low as well.....tonight is an extra long show (hour and a half), not sure why......

And where have they hid Monica?.......I'm going to miss her facial expressions....:D

She only did the professional series, not the amateurs.

I hope tonight's is a bit better (although why it would be I have no idea!), or I might find myself losing interest.....

Ah, that would explain it, she would frighten the life of the amateurs I suppose!....I'd be hiding in the press if I saw her...

It was like a very first visit into the kitchen for a couple of the contestants.

23 episodes is a lot. I sense the Sky Record button looming....

Why five contestants last night, but only four tonight

Presume we're going to see last night's winners up against tonight's later.

Bit of a curve ball not giving them any meat at this early stage!

That's a big parcel of Pigeon Meat!...

    Lol....:D

The dishes don't look the best, very thick looking sauces on some of them...

I think Blue shirt is out.

    Well anticipated!

Is this girl going to cry her way through the whole thing??

She could also do with hooking up with the dentist for a bit:D (meeeoowwwww!)

  • Registered Users Posts: 19,749 ✭✭✭✭grey_so_what

The person who gets the main course in the "real kitchen" gets stiched imo....

Last night the girl who did the starters had it handy (Tuna dish)

I'd say the Head Chef told the hat to take a hike!

I keep staring at "the teeth" myself!!....:)

  • Registered Users Posts: 29,269 ✭✭✭✭HeidiHeidi

They could do with an injection of speed!

11 steaks  Rather him than me... how would you ever keep track!

  • Registered Users Posts: 19,749 ✭✭✭✭grey_so_what

I have a vision of putting little flags with numbers on the steaks to keep a count on them......

I'm panicking for them at the moment!

  • Registered Users Posts: 29,269 ✭✭✭✭HeidiHeidi

Is it my imagination or do they keep throwing the chef filthy looks???

  • Registered Users Posts: 29,269 ✭✭✭✭HeidiHeidi

The white ones or the black ones?

  • Registered Users Posts: 19,749 ✭✭✭✭grey_so_what

There was a few filthy looks there all right.

The hat man better buck up. He is the weak link at the moment...

    The "Daz" teeth HH!

"Gonna get your TEETH stuck into this?"

Subtle as a jackhammer, John, as always!

The lamb had a pulse HH!...

The teeth and Ingrid are safe I'd say...

The hat man is gone by the looks of his starter....
