Hi I have a Toshiba laptop and had Microsoft office home and business built in when I bought it. Yesterday I accidentally deleted it how to I go about getting it back

I can't remember the name of the version of Office you're using but if it's the one I'm thinking of I ended up having to restore the OS to a previous time in order to get it working again after it had become corrupted.

Edit: It's Click to Run.

Did you install it or did you remove a folder? Is it still in the recycle bin? When you deleted it did it say "this is too big for the recycle bin, are you sure you want to delete it?"

"Click to run" is usually Office Starter edition.

Do you still have the Office Activation key that came with the computer. If so then you can download the Office 2010 trial version and activate it with that key.

If you can't find the key, you can try running MagicJellybean to retrieve it from the registry.

The office install image is still available from DigitalRiver. You'll want the english 32bit version. X16-32007.exe

This is the legal version and requires the activation key.

If it was Office Starter then it would be impossible to re-install afaik. You may be able to install it again using the factory reset option of the computer, which would erase all data and reload Windows, although I have seen cases when this did not reload Office Starter edition.
