Christy Dignam is unwell

    Locked from After Hours for .... well I don't know why :


    Christy Dignams daughter Kiera has posted on facebook that he is unwell. After being treated for a chest infection and pneumonia he has been diagnosed with cancer. He will not perform for the foreseeable future.

    Hope he gets well soon

    Yeah. The poor guy has Multiple Myeloma, a cancer of the plasma cells. A quick google reveals that the disease is pretty much always fatal.

    And if one thinks they have beaten it, it returns shortly afterwards.

    I would love to be wrong, in fact, I want to be wrong. But the prognosis is not good...
