Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Believe it to be a Fressia.... I have the Plant/Bulb in the garden, but they have never flowered for me :-(

The scent/lack of scent would be vital. Freesias are heavily perfumed while a crocus generally has none at all

It is a freesia, and freesias grown for florists mostly do not have a great deal of scent.

    Yup, that's a freesia.

Its 100% Freesia and the ones grown for florists do have a very strong scent. I had a florist for many years and never had a freesia that didn't smell

I've been told by a friend who works in a vets that if your cat gets lilly pollen on their fur and licks it off it's hardly even worth your while to bring them to the vet, because the cat is pretty much as good as dead.

ETA: definitely bring them to the vet though!

No your right about Lilly,s they are highly toxic to cats and if not treated within 18hours, death is a certainity (90%)

Thankfully freesia arent poisonous or even toxic to cats in anyway, It was just a concidence our cat took sick around the same time the flowers came into the house, I got freaked out when i couldnt identify what type they were, i had triple checked that they contained no lily's, thankfully he's almost 100% again :)

Thanks for all who helped :)
