    Hi,
Would anyone know if it's possible to buy white food colouring? I am trying to dye some liquids for paddy's day.

    Thanks

I've moved this to Cake & Pie because I'm hoping the cake decorators in here will be able to help.

To colour what? Not many things go pure white if they have another colour.

I have made 3 different flavoured homebrew liqueurs and I would like to dye them different colours for Paddy's day. At the moment they are all clear. Trying to make multicolour shots.

I would use condensed milk. It is really nice & creamy, but a little off white. I have made my own baileys type drinks with it using alcohol, I have made chocolate & other flavours.

Also once made it is a different density, so you could possibly make tricolour shots. i.e. if poured on slowly the liquids may not mix. If you add sugar to your 2nd liquer and not to the last then you can have 3 layers.

Great idea thanks I'll give that a go. It's a coconut liquer so the condensed milk may go nicely with it, lots of sugar in it already.

Coconut milk might work too so, but might not have the density effect.

I searched google images for tricolour shot

Some images might link to recipe pages.

Make sure it is condensed milk, not evaporated.
