Anyone know where i could pickup something like this;
9.5mm 2nd SATA HDD Hard Drive Caddy Bay Module Tray Adapter PATA IDE?

Looking to put a SATA drive into an IDE laptop, as 2.5" IDE drives are too expensive and/or non-existent it would seem.

Would prefer not have to wait 3 weeks to get one from dx.com

Or does anyone know of a small IDE to SATA adapter that could fit into the laptops HDD pay with the HDD?

You have to match the laptop to the "disk drive". They all have the same dimensions on the inner side but the fake outer varies.

Seems the client wants to keep his CD drive Dang. Will now have to search for a 2.5 IDE drive. But note to self, use Amazon.co.uk, as I forgot about it totally! As for shipping, I'll be using parcel motel, me thinks. Cheers ED E!
