Light snow in Donabate but only a small amount sticking on roofs & cars. Irish Sea has really pepped up but we'd need much heavier showers for lying snow. Nice too see some white though.

Looking at the UKMO radar, showers over the Irish Sea intensifying frame by frame. Also showers running into NE England intensifying - always a good sign for the Irish Sea later.

Just very fine snizzle here now. 0.6c DP -2.5c atm.

head a heavier burst of graupel but still lightish stuff. Also some real snow flurries thrown in (no graupel). Good signs for later this evening, tonight and tomorrow

Tonight into Tomorrow will be the interesting time period as winds turn NE giving a longer fetch across the Irish Sea. This is a teaser with some heavy narrow streamers appearing from Nth Dublin to County Down.

Hey Rougies...after you have succesful removed the IOM and wiped out much of Wales, could you be ever so kind to steam roll the Wicklow Mountains. Thanks.

Could be a very long day for me, I just love watching the clouds evaporate 10-20 miles to my east.

I'd imagine it's going to flurry like this all day. Teasing the bejaysus out of us.

EDIT: Actually the last radar frame looks more promising!
