    Mini blizzard now!

A decent shower, the problem is at this time of the year we're going to need persisent mod snow to get cover by day.

Still left a dusting in parts but won't last long! Might be a different story during nighttime however.

Still very impressive figures for March 26th/ 1.6c DP -3.5c

Snowing here, but the sun is shining through strongly, not lasting on the ground. Looks the business though.

Looking east at the Wicklow mountains looks like snow clouds coming my way.

    I have this nowcasting down

The showers seem to really beef up over the sea but then break down before they hit the coast. My nerves can't take it.

V suprised to wake up to covering of powdery snow on cars and roofs this morning , its a lot brighter now with largely blue sky , first sight of sun in days.

Was beginning to settle on the roads as well as grass, when I was leaving, and proper snow rather than graupel. In a reverse of the showers of last week, a few miles out the road there was very little. Still only a dusting though, nothing disruptive. Temp was showing -1.0.

Looking at the radar I think there will be significant accumulations away from the coast especially at elevations. Disruption too. At sea level in Dublin at the moment (near the port) there is nothing sticking. But I'm sure places further west will get a bit. Enough for excited cries of BLIZZARD here all day and tomorrow too probably
