Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

People here are being very harsh on Rosicky. He may be giving the ball away but he's trying quick one touch passes, they obviously won't work every time but if we had someone running on to them they'd be huge. He also charges the centre backs every time they have the ball, far from lazy looking in my book.

That went better than expected anyway.

Bayern don't look to have got out of first gear though, we could have done with bagging another before Heynckes got his hands on them at HT. If we can bag another earlyish in the second half it's game on.

Still expect Bayern to score at some stage though.

Bayerns lederhosen (sp?) seems to have snapped, its just lucky for them they are playing Arsenal.

Really missing Bastian. Way too many long balls from both CB's. Just watching him how he creates space and is always available for the ball from the CB's. Pivotal.

And this is the Rosicky that everyone was saying should be played more to give Wilshere a rest ?

He doesn't usually give the ball away as much as he's doing tonight. It has led to about 4 of their counter-attacks with our fullbacks up the field.

He's been poorer tonight than in a long time. If he picks up a yellow I'd get him off tbh.

    19/2 on Paddy Power.

Really poor game. Neither side looking particularly impressive and far too many fouls and slipping. Nothing like the game last night.

Bayern are obviously a better side than they have shown thus far tonight but I think a few people have been caught up in the hype and bluster. They haven't been at the races tonight and a better side would certainly punish them.

dont forget at this point with Wilshere playing we were 2-0 down to this team at home..

I think Rosicky is doing ok, its not his fault if his teammates cant figure out the space to run into to recieve a pass or else create space for the man on the ball

    Our passing is muck.

    our managers tactics are muck

WE GOT A FREE KICK INSIDE THE BM HALF
    WE ARE 1-0 DOWN
WE NEED TO SCORE 2 GOALS
THE FREE KICK IS IN FRONT OF THE MANAGERS TECHNICAL AREA

    WHAT DO WE DO

WE GIVE A 45 YARD PASS BACKWARDS THAT HAD TO TRAVEL OVER THE HEAD OF THE BM CENTRE FORWARD TO MERTS WHO STUGGLES TODO ANYTHING WITH THE BALL

    WHAT WAS THE PLAN

WHAT WAS THE POINT OF PASSING IT 40 YARDS BACKWARDS

WHAT WAS MERTS GOING TODO FROM HIS HALF THAT WE COULDNT ACCOMPLISH FROM 10 YARDS INSIDE THE BM HALF

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,572 ✭✭✭TheGunns

Carzola should be whipping that free kick in with his left.

They're there for the taking if we had a clue what to do in the final third.

Robben did his best fish-out-of-water impression after that Rosicky tackle.

Is Wenger waiting for them to score before he changes things?

I disagree. He was instrumental in the goal and has made a few important interceptions in defence.
