hi im expecting a payment and the person has my old details. lost card last year. they have sent the details to the card old number. will this automatically be transferred to the new number on my visa?

If it's with the same card issuer, then it should be.

if its mbna then it might not be because they are changing over. it was on some of the documentation they sent out to me recently. id suggest ringing your card issuer to clarify.
