Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I am just wondering is the higher level and ordinary level classes divided up evely amongst teachers in your schools or do certain teachers always get the best classes while others get the weaker ones. Do ye prefer to have the higher level or ordinary? I know this is more focused towards the english/ irish/ maths/ languages classes etc

    We rotate it every year.
    It is the fairest way.
I like having the levels changed every year.
I would not like to always have higher level the same as I would not like to have foundation level all the time.
    A change is good.

its also rotated amongst those who are interested. not everyone wants to teach HL everything to be honest, I used to love getting bottom stream junior cycle, love higher leaving and others the other way.

Rotated every year in my school. However, in my last school, I was quite happy to always take the OL in LC Irish (my second subject) and that was accommodated.

It's left to the teachers to decide for themselves in my place and we generally rotate it. There are only two of us teaching leaving cert maths anyway so every second year makes sense. We have one guy who doesn't teach leaving cert maths but always takes the third year higher level though.

Had JC OL Maths this year for the first time ever. Usually had the higher but god it was so easy to get then all through the mocks compared to the HL!

Usually we rotate it at LC.
