    What is the nearest post office to Gaol Cross, Western Road?

    The GPO my man , or else Wilton shopping center.
    There was one on Washington street years ago , but I think its long gone.

    still there, it's inside the shop at the corner of South Main st.

    there are postal services available in An Stad in the student Centre in UCC.

    This is almost certainly the closest Post Office. About 300 meters down the road (towards town) from Jackie Lennoxes.

    There was a post office at Gaol Cross, once upon at time (next door to where the Station shop is now).

    I would say your nearest option is Sunday's Well (via the cut-through from Western Road to the Mardyke and the "Shakey" bridge). Post services in UCC are limited now, since An Post removed the vending machine and the post box:( You can still weigh items and buy stamps in An Stad. Second nearest after Sunday's Well is probably Bandon Road.
