Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Is there a iPad refresh due?

    I know with the recent amount of iPad refreshes at the end of last year there probably isnt anything coming up soon but I think if they do refresh it is usually in March.

    Any buzz out there about a re fresh?

    Looking at an ipad mini

    I'd expect to see one pretty soon really..for the ipad mini I'd expect one with retina display etc in the next model

    Thats what I'm holding out for.

    I've a brother in law int he states who is due home in June so I'd be asking him to pick it up for me

    I'd be very surprised to see an new iPad (5) before the Autumn.

    That said, I'd expect it to be so redesigned in terms of weight and size I would hold off even now buying one. The current model will seem like a brick compared to it, I reckon.

    50/50 for the iPad mini going "retina" I reckon, and not for 6 months either.

    Hard to say with the recent shift to the normal release cycle from Apple. I'd say they'll probably release an update sometime in the last 3-4 months of 2013. OS X and some Mac refreshes will probably get the spotlight for the summer around WWDC13. But if they do release an update it will probably be in the next 1-2 months. They also just released the 128GB iPad w/ Retina Display. Probably will be updated towards the end of the year.
