Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

This is a collapse of epic proportions. No Bale on the bench either to save them.

If Inter try to hold on they will lose it. Looked good going forward so they should keep going.

Without Bales outlet they've had a nightmare so far, Inter have hit the bar and worked Friedel 2,3 times also. Spurs hanging on at the moment.

Looked like he hardly touched him and Cassano was on the ground for about 2 minutes

You can only laugh at how poor Spurs have been tonight.

    What a chance for Cambiasso.

Classic Spurs though, its why I'm not as worried as I should be about AFC getting CL next.

    6/4, fill yer boots.

Parker is a stand out player for being poor tonight. Sloppy control, giving ball away, not looking to get on the ball and just general sluggishness. Not for the first time this season.

This is where I've always found a major flaw with the away goals rule. Inter will have to "host" and expose themselves to the risk of an away goal for 120 mins where as Spurs only had to for 90.

    Anyway, back to the game.....

I'm not usually a bitter man but i am defcukinglighted this has happened.

But Inter also gets home advantage for 30 mins more than Spurs.

    Zanetti done well there.

That should be where the 'luck of the draw' kicks in. Away goals are a pain.

    Huge goal.

Have always thought the away goals should be scrapped when it comes to extra time.

After 90 minutes do you not change ends for the first half of Extra Time? Spurs are attacking the same end

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 38,986 ✭✭✭✭eagle eye

Agh, all that and then they get the away goal in extra time. Was hoping they'd lose on penalties once it went 3-3.

Dembele is a lot better at looking like he is about to die than Bale.

Somebody really needs to yank that rats tail off Palacio's head. I've seen footballers with stupid haircuts but that thing is just ridiculous.

His hand was covered in blood so must have been pretty bad.

I'm not anti-spurs at all. I was just laughing at how bad they were and when a team lets a lead slip like that I always want to see them get beat.

As for the comment your quoted, I was laughing at him rolling over and backwards. Generally if somebody has an injury they don't move at all to try and protect it. When you see somebody do what he was doing there you know its an act. Unfortunately this one time it wasn't but even at that a cut won't give you pain like the way he was acting.
