Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Something different just outside Dublin

    Hey all

Firstly, Mods, sorry if this is the wrong place to put this - please let me know if so and I will delete.

I have a friend coming over at the end of the month. We're doing a big Dublin touristy thing, but we also want to spent a day/night somewhere outside of Dublin. We have four days - so I was thinking three days in Dublin and one somewhere else.

I'd prefer minimal travel - preferably by train. I was thinking of booking us into a B&B somewhere that's near things that we can go and visit by day, and also near enough some nightlife so that we can have a bit of a boogie later on.

We've already done Belfast. Galway could be an option - but I would be hoping for somewhere closer. I would actually be happy with the likes of Greystones, but I'm not sure what there is to do and see there.

    Any advice gratefully received!

Kilkenny? Not as far as Galway, train is relatively frequent. Stuff to see and do and certainly places to party!
