    Give us the details?

It was during the Edinburgh Festival. He was standing on a corner shouting abuse at passers by. (like he used to do in Temple Bar) He didn't even have a show there that year.

He had a go at me, I roared back at him telling him he was a disgrace. He didn't take kindly to his own medicine. There was a heated argument After a few minutes I left it so and went into the Three Sisters for several pints. He remained outside shouting at tourists.

I saw the Riverdance in the Gaiety, I thought they were going to fall off the stage, it was teetering at one stage.......

    Loved it though!........

They remind me of a middle aged married couple who go to a wedding, and the husband drinks too much and he starts getting very chatty with the people around him, and the wife then gives him the cold shoulder.

Yeah I saw it there too. It just didn't have the wow of a big stage.

    Still enjoyed it too though!

That's how Eddie Izzard started out (not hurling abuse, I mean). Up-and-coming comedians hang around Edinburgh streets during the festival to get 'noticed'.

    That's true.

Loads of Irish Comedians are massive in Edinburgh, but I have never seen him there since.
