    Until any of them actually sell it doesn't mean a thing, you can ask what you like for a property, no guarantee of getting it.

    The property register isn't always updates straight away either... Can be a few months in it.

    Either way, I'm delighted if someone renovates and improves a place and then resells it. This should be encouraged, it improves the housing stock.

    Strange they are not holding and availing of the CGT exemption from the budget though. Fair play though, there is a nice profit there for a small time builder if they didn't run away with themselves on the refurb.
