Isn't it against the charter of the talk to forms that they can't treat you like that, not sure of the exact wording but I'd be having a word with the mods of that area if eMobile aren't playing fair with you and not dealing with your issue.

Your only problem is getting your number back out of them.

See can you port out the number to pre pay on another network, if it works run down the bank and cancel the DD straight away.

Then you can deal with them at your leasure. Sounds like you've done as much as you can, the time to be reasonable has passed.

    Hi Op,
I also have coverage issues with emobile (meteor network) .

    There GSM coverage is fine.
If you put your phone into GSM only mode it may resolve the issue.

If my phone is on "WCDMA only (3g)" or "GSM / WCDMA auto" the cover cuts out indoors.

    All the best,

Not much help to you, but I've been with them since 2010 and never had any major coverage issues, indoors or out, even in some locations where friends on other networks were out of coverage. The only blackspot I can think of is one place on the Dublin Cork road where cover drops for about 20 seconds.

Any chance there's a problem with your phone?

That makes no sense, they have to accept that. Get comreg to organise the settlement amount. You should not have to forefit your deposit it should be taken off the 34.50 by how ever many months are left.

People are emigrating every day and paying off their phone contracts early before they leave, there is no reason why your case is any different. You should be able to pay up the remaining months and get the phone unlock code at the same time.

Give them the phone back, cancel the DD and tell them to shove it ! Let them try to prove you weren't reasonable and that they were providing you with the service you signed up for ! IMO you've been more than reasonable with them, in fact overly so ! They couldn't provide the service they promised when you signed up, why would you want to pay out a contract that doesn't exist based on what you've experienced ?

Everyday, helped a guy do it today, no problem. Remaing months by monthly commitment. Unlock request on the same call, no problem in the world. Not eMobile though.

Get comreg to broker it don't even waste your time with them at this stage.
