    Hi guys,

I found this dog in Glenstal Woods near Murroe last night. If anyone recognises her or can give her a home let me know.

Thanks guys. The dog wasn't wearing a collar and isn't microchipped.

+1, make sure you do this, they have thousands of followers and pets have been found this way before, easiest way to get it seen. Also give the pound a ring in mungret and give them a description of the dog in case anyone has or does call to report her missing. Maybe a few posters in the local shops and Garda station as well.

We've postered the local area and put ads on every website we can find. I've been sharing on Twitter & Facebook too but I've had no interest.

Unfortunately we aren't in a position to keep her so we really need to find her a home. She's lovely and placid and very well behaved. She's house and lead trained and gets along great with other dogs.

If anyone is interested please let me know ASAP.

Contact Limerick Animal Welfare 063 91110 or 087 6371044. They might have a place for her, if that's the case my girlfriend and I are going there in the morning so we could take her to the sanctuary.

Whatever you do do not give her to the pound as they will keep her till Friday and then put her down.

I've contacted LAW as well as a few other shelters and all are saying that they are full unfortunately.

    Try here: http://www.lostandfoundpets.ie/

Had a dog appear in the garden last summer and stayed around for a day or so. Put the info on that site and the owner found it and the dog was returned to his owner!

Ignore the suggestion - just found your ad there!!! :D

You could try to contact the Murroe community council website www.murroe.net or their Facebook page http://www.facebook.com/murroe?ref=ts&fref=ts they might put a post on their site or FB page.

You could also contact Crokers and they might do the same
