Gameweek 30 Matchday Thread

RVP will make or break alot of people this gameweek depending on his performace/points. Nearly everyone that has him will captain him and if he does well they will benefit but if he fails to deliver those who dont and have a good scoring captain will have the potential to have a very good week.

Also we are coming into the time of year when teams fighting relegation will cause upsets. Southampton, Reading and Wigan have the potential to do so this gameweek.

Arguably the biggest game of the gameweek is Aston Villa vs QPR when you factor in what is at stake.

    Team:

    Begovic

    Dawson, Wilson, Rafael

    Mata, Bale(vc), Michu, Walcott

    Sturridge, RVP(c), Suarez

    Bench: Bunn, Townsend, Martin, Harte

It was a bit of a dilemma having a goalkeeper + defender from each of Stoke and Norwich. I came very close to spreading the clean sheet potential across the two fixtures, particularly with Norwich having a much better record of late. But in the end I decided to put faith in the home fixture. Stoke have to keep a clean sheet soon, right?

    N'Zogbia or Coutinho ?

  • Registered Users Posts: 6,262 ✭✭✭iroced

N'Zogbia seems second choice now. So maybe the portuguese then ;)

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 48,256 ✭✭✭✭km79

I'm left Walcott on the bench. Gonna be nervous ....

City missing Tevez now with tight hamstrings, with Agüero out as well, good chance for Everton.

There was talk of him being out with tight hamstrings but it must have been nothing .

Checked a friends team as we are competing in the same private leagues.
Lol- the result of his 4yr old hijacking his laptop has resulted in him not changing his team & left his big hitters on the bench:pac:

2 game suspension now, well that's my transfer sorted for next week.I benched him today, just had a feeling that Michu will outscore him.

Disallowed goal Miralles, very borderline call. Stunning finish.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 20,553 ✭✭✭✭Dempsey

That goal should have stood, excellent finish by Mirallas though!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,600 ✭✭✭roryc

Fellaini is back for GW33 though, Evertons double. If he drops by £0.3 each week which is possible he could be a bargain at £7m

Fellaini will be available for the double now though, won't he?

I'm seriously considering Mirallas instead. Hoping he puts in a big performance today without scoring. Already has a disallowed goal.

If he wasnt so flat footed, he would have been able to shift his feet and get across easily enough tbh

always on the cards the new manager kept taking him off early shame as he was a good cheap option.

Plus he's out of contract and apparently off to Newcastle in the Summer.

Fellaini should have been sent off going by that 'non' peno decision

Looks like Samba may never score again:(, seems like Guzan is after making two extraordinary saves from him in a couple of minutes.

Commentators looked back at it & seemed to think the ref gave handball against Osman first (even if he didn't touch it).
