Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

One of them was always going to go. Thought it would have been Fellaini.

Spectacular dive! Did you see the way he jumped both feet off the ground so dramatically, just to get his opponent sent off. Players are such warriors these days.

Dangerous challenge by Pienaar. Clear red I reckon, but have seen them only yellow as well. Him and Fellaini out now for a couple of games.

it was a 2nd yellow card he will only miss one game.

Straight red I thought? I know he was booked earlier as well though.

Should've been a yellow for Milner

Gotta be a yellow for Milner.

should have been a yellow for Milner.

You idiot Pienaar, two clear yellows.

Fellaini suspended for two games and Pienaar for one. Just when you thought you'd seen the last of Phil Neville...

Ref not making it easy for himselft, Milner should have been booked.

Graphics showed it as second yellow although only seen the red from the ref.

Yeah, I think they were showing the replay and we missed the yellow being issued before. I think so anyhow.

    Great saves!!

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,494 ✭✭✭Columbia

It was a second yellow according to the BBC, I think the cameras might have missed the yellow being flashed and only showed red.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 2,040 ✭✭✭markie29

that was a great 2nd save by Mucha!

You are right, I watched it again. Second red though of the season, so 2 game ban.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 2,040 ✭✭✭markie29

David Moyes: tactical genius, or escaped mental patient?

Next tactical switch: Anichebe off, Neville on

Will Everton fans still want Moyes out even if they hold on here?

Distin should have done better there,I await the 94th minute goal from City.

Ref bottled it there with Dzeko.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,623 ✭✭✭double GG

Would have loved Distin to score there. just because of Hart's positioning and being in no mans land etc... etc...

Hes bottled every decision today, lucky for him Pienarr was already on a yellow for that tackle that should have been a straight red

Considering they have had no money I can't believe that any Everton fan wants him out anyhow. Unless they get an injection of cash I would be amazed if they were not worse with almost any other manager they could get.

Anichebe has been very good today.

Dzeko is such a lazy waster.

Great performance this from Everton, Man City just can't compete.

    Coleman has been quality today.

Yeah, but at this stage of the game you need someone to run around and work tirelessly. Can't believe some Everton booed Moyes for that substitution.

I don't know about others, but I would still prefer a new manager. I don't hate Moyes, I have immense respect for him, but this whole thing is going stale. We've seen this from Everton a dozen times before, choke on the big occasion and then turn it on when there's scraps at stake. Today is nice (if we hold on) but it really doesn't make any difference. Yeah it gives us a chance in the "finish ahead of Liverpool" trophy, but last week was the important game, and Moyes bottled it again. He put out the wrong team with the wrong tactics, and once again the fans are left hoping for scraps.

thats a penalty!!.....my god this has been a shocking performance by the referee today.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 13,222 ✭✭✭✭Will I Amnt

That just caps off a dismal display of officiating today.

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,629 ✭✭✭me89

That is shocking from the ref, bottled it.
