Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Ref bottled that. Either no foul or a penalty.

    Naismith is f***ing useless.

Amazing that he can get a game for Everton.

Ref bottled it big time there, penalty and maybe even second yellow.

How can they mess that up, his assistant surely has to see he wad in the box there.

Tevez presumabley telling him he will see his mistake later among other things.

How City did not get a peno, I don't know. Then again Everton should of had one in the first half.

Only explanation is that he gave it for Osman sliding in and handling it.

He didnt handle it but Probert is an idiot, so who knows.

Absolutely. Moyes transformed the club from relegation strugglers to one the best teams in the Premiership. Mind boggling that any Everton fans would want him out!

Both teams should have had a penalty. An awful display from the officials but no doubting Everton deserved their win.

The board decided he lacked ambition if I recall correctly, quick as a flash they had gone from being similar to Everton straight down to league 1.

I fully appreciate what Moyes has achieved but he's an ability to mess it all up at the worst times. He done it against Chelsea in the FA Cup final, against Liverpool last season in the semi final and again against Wigan last week. I could give a lot more examples.

He won't sign a new contract. Our results have dipped since he announced he won't sign before the end of the season.

Don't take so much out of todays result, we always beat City :P

This is not my reaction tbh, its about what hes done since hes been there. You are overperforming and if he left you would see this. There wouldnt be cup finals, pushes for 4th imo

no, i was a season ticket holder at charlton back then. it was more a case of he couldn't go any further and wanted a break. he was the second longest serving manager at a club then after AF.
back then charlton were always good at the start of the season but tailed off towards the end. a 5-0 defeat at home to relegated leeds on the last day of the season always sticks in my mind.
choosing ian dowie was a masterstroke of madness though.

Maybe but we might never know because some people see losing cup finals and pushes for 4th as an achievement. I don't. Despite what some people think, Everton are a big club with a large fan base, comparisons to Charlton are laughable. Moyes is the 4th highest paid manager in the Premiership and the 12th highest in the world (IMO he deserves to be) so if he was to leave there's money there to pay for a top class manager. One won has the ability win trophies.
