Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Just had a look on DD there, seen this lovely 200cc for 1500e not bad. http://www.donedeal.ie/for-sale/scooters/4799016 Considering the work that has been done on her, I would be interested myself if I had any spare cash, but sadly not at the moment.

Go to Cotters in Ballymount Industrial Estate, they will kit you out with a decent lid, jacket, gloves and padded bottoms for 250 I reckon.
Id advise on the padded trousers, my first bike was a scooter, I had an accident where I came off with only rain trousers on and landed on my left knee and nearly ruined it.
Id advise you to get boots too, to protect your feet and ankles in a fall.

+1 People often skimp on gear with a scooter but it is the same deck we hit when we take a slide.

TBH I don't feel comfortable with my leathers on when I'm on the Vespa, I will often wear the jacket but with have another light jacket over it. However, I would recommend padded trousers and good boots too.

I had one of these 100 cc speedfights and they are great.
    Nippy and superb on fuel.
Dont mind that its been tuned, that seems like a person who is into them and has took pride in the thing.
Its probably over-priced so offer less and try do a deal without the underseat sound system (wtf!!)
I'd nearly buy that myself for a laugh!
    Best of luck.
