yeah, the weather was dodgy but went down with the family. good times. however there was a bunch of mad people actually running onto the road and "interacting" with the floats. the were forcibly stopping vehicles and posing for photos. there parents were taking the photos while the kids posed. i really admired the multitasking of the parents, camera in one hand, beers in the other and still getting their photos. a truly amazing display of manual dexterity. i think the gards intervened when they got into their vans to drive away. if you seen them you would be dumbfounded.

the parade felt a bit smaller this year but there was a great turnout, loads of people up at the maxol anyway.
