    Hello All.
Cleaned out the oil and my filter for the first time. Was wondering instead of wrapping a plastic bag around it and dumping it, is there a more environmentally friendly way to do it in galway?

Does the county council take it in the loisbaun industrial estate?

they'll take the oil alright, don't know about the actual filter but I doubt it. the council also have a waste collection van that goes around collecting this kind of stuff, it's schedule is usually announced in the local papers a couple of weeks before hand.

There's a black bin next to the oil trough for the empty oil containers, that's where I throw mine.
    Should maybe ask next time..
