Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Decided going to get one...just have to decide on size etc now and should I buy before I go to US or over there

Buy it in the USA . . . . .far far cheaper than over here. I'd recommend the ipad 4 (large one!) over the ipad mini. Reason being as when I was trying out the mini in harvey Normans before buying my ipad I found looking at news websites (I.e. independent, times, etc.) was a bit tedious and I needed to zoom to realise textual clarity. ;)

(Also get yourself a good quality cover and screen protector and you'll be set) :pac:

If you are interested in the "Wi Fi + Cellular" model then you won't be able to buy in the US. To the best of knowledge they are all locked to local ISP's.

No iPad is locked to a carrier. They don't subsidise them
