Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Must find this Rathoath one. I normally price around a little if looking for something specific, anything I have bought from them over the years are still going strong. If it's a bit expensive I just don;t buy it or else wait until things go on special. Never knew about the one in ratoath, be hitting google maps shortly.:D

Is the cafe back open yet????

Wasnt open when we were last there,a month ago.

The owner is one of the nicest people we have had the pleasure of talking to.

He reminds me a bit of Tommy Tiernen......has that look about him.

Very easy to get to,from Plantagen.

Drive out of Plantagen.Turn right onto the main road and head for Rathoath itself

Drive into Rathoath and follow sign for town centre.

    You come to a T-Junction.

Turn right, and then keep on driving on out of the town for about 2-3 miles.

You will see Rathoath Garden Centre signposted and it will be on the right hand side of the road.

Lovely place with well stocked plants and lovely planted gardens and walkways too.

Lovely wildlife pond in it aswell.:D

another way of getting there is heading northbound on the M2, and take the exit marked for ashbourne. after about half a mile you come to a big roundabout - take the first exit, marked for ratoath. after about a mile, the road crosses over the M2 again, and it's immediately afterwards on the left.

they're lovely people; they lent my father in law a 500 litre tank to keep his fish in when he was re-lining his pond.

Thats the way we head back home.....M2

A stop off at Plantagen, then over the road and into Kilsaran to view their display gardens, then on up into Rathoath Garden Centre, and then back home down the M2.

    Nice little trip.:)
