Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Would Apple replace a ding'd iPhone 5?

Happened to fall out of my pocket when getting out of my car this afternoon. Just wondering what their policy is on things like this? Lots of the anodized aluminum band is badly chipped now – looks absolutely atrocious on the black iP5. Totally takes away from the great aesthetics of the phone.

I've heard Apple replacing iPhone screens when still under warranty, what are the chances they'd give me a replacement? Not the end of the world if I can't get it fixed, but I might as well take my chances.

You dropped your phone, and because the paint is coming off the edge, you feel like you might get a replacement.

    Best of luck with that.

As I said – I was just trying my luck. I guess they don't do it so. Oh well, lesson learned. I guess I should have had a case on it.

    :p

You could getting it replaced. Say it happened over time from being in your pocket with other things. I dunno what will happen if its blaringly obvious it was damaged from a fall. They might send it back to you
