Is it harder to get credit union loan

    Just about to apply for top up loan never had any trouble before always regular saver never missed a payment with them. But heard its getting tough to get approved now.

    Of course it's going to be harder to get finance, look at what has happened the country! When they assessed loan applications before I don't think they took the whole picture into account, whereas now they are hounded by the regulator (who caused this mess by not actually regulating the banks all those years) and they need to be 100% sure you can repay the loan.
    Considering u are a regular saver & never missed a payment you should be fine though. People still don't seem to understand why banks & c.u. wont just hand over the money anymore though, even after everything thats happened
