I was delighted to read of this New Awards System for students who volunteer time to the Institute of Technology in Tralee! A move that should encourage more volunteering-time by students I would imagine. from here :)

I was delighted to read of this New Awards System for students who volunteer time to the Institute of Technology in Tralee! A move that should encourage more volunteering-time by students I would imagine.

President’s Civic Spirit Award aims to recognise and acknowledge the contribution of student volunteers to the Institute and the wider community.
A recent study shows 60% of IT Tralee student volunteers give an average of 3 hours a week, with over 60% saying their volunteering supports, assists, and enhances their study.
