What's worse than an ill-thought-out, poorly planned and shoddily executed idea? Repeating the ill-thought-out, poorly planned and shoddily executed idea. That's right, One Night Love Affair returns!

Truth be told, we were truly delighted by the success of last November's little party in the country, and would again like to thank all of you who attended and showed us love in what were hugely stressful circumstances. It's a party we won't remember for a long time to come.

Now on to the future, and we've decided to keep things a little bit closer to home this time, where we'll be taking over Factory and Electric Garden to bring you the finest in house and disco sounds this Easter Saturday.

In Factory, we are delighted to announce that San Soda will be headlining with a 3 hour set. The hot young DJ/producer is at the top of his game lately with both his releases (his own EP’s on We Play House as well as his FCL “It’s You” collaboration with Red D that’s just been re-released on Defected) and his DJ sets (including his recent storming set at Twisted Pepper) garnering much praise. (Full San Soda bio below).

Support on the night in Factory will come from ONLA stalwarts the Disconauts, while Yoseph, Byron and Eoin will be doing their thang from 6pm.

In Electric Garden, we are proud to bring you the Irish debut of Francesco, aka Mr. Ties, who has been creating waves in Berlin over the last few years. Resident at the excellent Homopatik club night, Mr. Ties has also graced the decks to huge acclaim at Panorama Bar, with genre-spanning marathon sets his calling card. Francesco will be playing a special disco/Italo set for us, (dis)ably supported by Ger Z.

And that's not all, oh no. So much fun was the Sunday session last time that we've decided to do it all again, when we'll be taking over the Blue Note for an all-day extravaganza. The usual suspects will be joined by Irish clubland legend Tonie Walsh for a long-overdue gig out west.
    See ya'll on the dancefloor!

    SAN SODA BIO:

At age 18 San Soda visited the Clues bar in his hometown, On that very night he visited, none other than Chicago legend Tyree Cooper was jacking the place up, invited by long time Clues resident and leading Belgian house DJ Red D. From this formative night onwards he dug deep into black music fiending on the likes of Theo Parrish, Jus Ed and Omar S, which in turn led to more discoveries in Chicago house, New York deep house, soul, hip hop and funk.

It was only a logical step from devouring this music to making it. He handed a demo to Red D - Red D had been toying with the idea to start his own record label - and the music San Soda gave him was the final trigger. We Play House Recordings was born and set up as an exclusive home for San Soda’s music and any like-minded producer that would cross the path of San Soda and Red D.

Since its inception We Play House Recordings and especially San Soda have caused a stir in the house music world. The various San Soda E.P.’s (Limited Gear, Super Pim Pam Pet, Immers & Daarentegen Album Sampler) were all well received. The ‘Vocals For Everyone E.P.’ - released by FCL, the collaboration between San Soda and Red D - featured tracks ‘Let’s Go’ and ‘More Than Seven’; both became huge club hits worldwide.

San Soda’s debut album was released in October 2010 and a bunch of remixes followed: his remix of André Lodemann on Freerange, an FCL remix of Stuffa’s ‘Proof’ on Trunkfunk, which was recently licensed by Defected, and more remixes on Composite, Kolour, Derwin and more.

FCL’s “It’s you” is the latest in a list of tracks involving San Soda to take the clubs by storm with Defected successfully re-releasing it early in 2013 after it’s original release on We Play House last summer.

With past and future gigs in Panoramabar, a much acclaimed performance at Sonar, a temporary move to Berlin and around-the-world bookings in Canada, the US and many European countries it is safe to say that San Soda’s take on house and good music in general will stay in the picture for a little while longer…
