savage.fairly good condition.some battle wounds here and there but overall good.needs a few locks etc,

The screen on the e2 is a piece off piss to rotate,
the bezel on the other hand is a 10-15min job.

The screen on the sega is a 2 man job while the bezel take 30secs to rotate :rolleyes:

I only read that about the E2 bezel yesterday. Hadn't a clue it took a while to rotate. So daft!

I don't really understand the fuss about the egret 2's, other than quick rotatable monitor.

E2 came from Ronnie in Holland.blast from Jeff in the uk.
I have a soft spot for the blast, even tho it broke my heart!
Gave the E2 a good seeing to last night, the monitor is unreal! I need to fine tune the blast and get it the same.

So the blast's low res is nowhere near as nice as the E2 yeah?

Maybe just use the blast as a dedicated high res cab?

I need to get the brightness right on the blast,
i think the brightness and contrast pots are dodgy on the remote board.
theres no g-gain on it either which is annoying.
nothing wrong with the 15k picture at all but the e2 is more vibrant.

what high res systems are people running?

that reminds me,I havent been able to get the dsub input to sync.
But since trying Ive found a dsub sync pot so its probably that

PC or 360 in the blast via VGA - games running at 640X480 to use the higher resolutions. (Higher res arcade boards like Atomiswave games - Dolphin Blue is great)

Then keep the E2 for original low res hardware :cool:

The blast's display is just the raw monitor screen? I didn't know that. Every cab I've ever seen has a bezel of some sort. Even the Atomiswave I had had a perspex screen. Stops the monitor getting scratched in an arcade.

Naomi is JVS and not Jamma. So you'd need to be able to hook up JVS boards.

Same as my astro city...just bare monitor.

Its great to just tap the screen and hear that thick glass thud.
I like to do it once i batter someone in sf4.:)
If you want virtual tennis etc just hook up a Dreamcast to it.
Same hardware as naominreally...great catalogue of games just made for a cab.

Defo never had a perspex screen, the bezel sits right onto the monitor itself.

Hmm, interesting, all the cabs listed have 29 inch monitors.

It looks like that when the Japanese changed over from using 25/26 inches monitors as standard to 29, lots of cabs stopped including a glass screen.
