Any Irish riders coming for the Cape Epic 2014?

A former club mate of mine who used also play a small bit of rugby (Munster) is doing this. I'm supposed to be getting daily email updates about his progress. He was an animal on the bike but obviously his bulk didn't help on the hills!

The emails should start coming trough next weekend. I found this in the meantime, is he listed? (sorry, I was and still is a Leinster man )

Started looking and got lazy. A quick search didn't turn him up but he's definitely doing it. Shaun Payne is the guys name.

I know I'm a bit slower than you, but jeeze, that might make for a mighty experience some year! We'd definitely be similarly on message for nutrition strategy anyway

Thanks for the link - as it turns out, something came up that means I have to be in Europe. Some day though, some day...

@Enduro - I know that one of the guys who has won this multiple times skips breakfast (just coffee) before each stage to maximize sleep! (early starts) eats lots on the bike.
