Issue with Netgear Wireless USB Adapter

    Hi guys,

    I just got a Netgear N300 Wireless USB Adapter from PC World. I ran the setup on my new computer (OS: Windows 8). Everything seemed to work fine, but when I try to open the genie to connect to a wireless network, it shuts down as soon as it opens.
    The USB adapter model is wna3100.
    Does anyone know what the issue might be, or a fix for it?
