What to wear with tights

Hi all,

I got these tights from River Island and am wondering what to wear them with? I don't wear shorts only dresses/jeans, but I'd wear a skirt too, nothing too short though, only something that's about 1" above my knee.

I'm 5"5 1/2 and a size 12.

Would appreciate any suggestions!

The seam would suit a pencil skirt. They usually come below the knee.

I have a pair of tights like that. I wear them when I'm feeling like making an effort on a night out, around Christmas perhaps. I wear them with anything I wear normal black tights with. They're slightly more dressy than plain tights, but they're not racy like a proper back seam.

Agreed, they're perfect for nights out. I wouldn't wear them with anything with a mad pattern because they'd overwhelm the tights. They'd look good with a fitted dress, in red or green.
