Exchange upgraded,sky still havent upgraded me.

    So our local exchange was upgraded to 24mb NGB on -1/03/2013 ie 21 days ago.
    After years with eircom i moved to sky in Jan after enquiring with eircom if they had any plans for an upgrade any time soon of which i was told no plans.

    Typical, soon after i move to sky eircom upgrade things at long last.

    Now my understanding is sky should now be offering me what my line and the exchange can handle.
    Ive rang sky and they say they have to wait until eircom pass on details but could not offer a time estimation.

    Anybody have and knowledge of procedure here?

    Im on the sky trial and getting really fed up waiting for things to move along, im so tempted to see about cancelling sky and go back to eircom, ive been asking for fast internet for many years.

    I'm on the same exchange with the sky trial, where did you hear that the exchange has been upgraded?

    I'd also like to get my line speed increased if possible. :)

    Its the Monasterevin exchange, as you in Monasterevin?

    Yeah the Monasterevin exchange. How do you know its been upgraded? I'm definitely going to be getting on to Sky if it has.

    Had an eircom rep call to the door,eircom confirmed it here on boards too.
    Also when i enter my number on the eircom site it says 24 mb available.

    Regarding sky, im far from impressed with the delay passing this on.
    If had no end of issues dealing with them.
