Jaysus FF just have no morals. Seems this image has caused offence now.

I don't get the imagery here . Why would Fianna Fail want to fly a traitors flag over Iwo Jima . Doesn't make sense to me .

f.f don't need a plan or any policies. f.g and labour will hand them the next election

After the mess has been cleaned up by FG/Labour. It can then set about destroying everything again where the auctioneer, developer and chancers will thrive again.

I suppose you would have to say at least f.f created the boom and give us the peace process and good Friday agreement. iam struggling to remember anything useful f.g and lab did.

    What boom?

Oh you mean the one where fianna fail made there developer friends obscenely rich, while Pocketing large bribes for themselves. All while bankrupting the country to save there corrupt banker friends!

    Ya, great times alright!

maybe you don't remember a time when hundreds of people where getting killed on ****ty roads. so apart from the motorway system what have f.f ever done for us. well do you remember people living in dingy wee houses and not being able to afford a bigger house than their neighbour. so f.f dragged the country out of the stone age. if you cant give them credit for this then you cant blame them for a world recession. I am sure the blueshirts in f.g would do a better job. sure look how well they are doing now

You mean the lovely motorways we all pay tolls on and subsidice because fianna fail gave the company running them a contract they could only have dreamed about!

As for houses, Bertie ahern created a property bubble for the benefit of he's mates like Bernard MC namara and there ilk. And if you said anything about it you were told to go away and commit suicide by Bertie!

The boom was an illusion. When the boom was getting boomier ( according to Bertie) that was an illusion too. Have you not read a newspaper in a few years ?

They are in the process now as in trying to stabilize the country, after the excess of FF, which is why we still have an economy and some credibility. FF sold us out and left us in debt decades to come.

As for the peace process, that was down to the terrorists who wanted a deal and too much credit is given to FF and others. If the former had not wanted a deal then there would have been no peace process.

Well they could not afford a bigger house. FF gave them what? ......... debt and more debt. In fact all of us debts for years to come. The country was in meltdown and bankrupt. Thanks FF.

A linguistic achievement to fit so much BS into one small paragraph!

People of their own volition took out excessive loans far in excess of their capacity to repay. These loans were for vastly inflated property prices on the back of no financial regulation, balances or checks all down to FF.

You expected fianna fail to be talking down the boom, when there were thousands of euros of developers money landing in the bank account of the wife of the current fianna fail leader martin.

Did he ever explain how that happened?

Not struggling at all. If you cannot see that both are to blame but the ultimate blame lies with FF, who were supposed to be running the country, as in, be in charge of policies and administration. I hope that is clearer for you.
