I have friends and family coming to stay for the may bank holiday weekend. We'll be based in Rathmullan for the weekend and I'd love a few pointers on activities in the area, especially for children (we have rugrats right up to teenagers so it's hard to keep everyone happy).

    Hi

You take them on a boat trip up Lough Swilly

Or get a sailing lesson with the local sailing cub

There are plenty of activities going on around

There's a really good play park for little ones beside the main beach - coffee shop nearby too for the parents. ! For older kids there is an outdoor adventure centre ( with zorbing and zip cords etc ) near Carrigart - it's called GLEN VALLEY ( bit of a drive ( maybe 3/4 of an hour ) but the older kids love it !
