Looking for a little help. Does anyone know the ins and outs of the laser range finding scopes like the Nikon, Bushnell and Burris Eliminators. Are the classed as ordinary scopes or do they need a letter from The Super? I know they don't project a visible beam or dot so my thinking is you don't need the letter but just…

I'm open to correction here, but Nightvision scopes speak for themselves. They need authorisation. However range finding scopes are okay as they do not emit a visible laser.

The law about light emitting scopes has to do with the power of the lasers so if it does not emit one you are fine.
