Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Missing Heat Pump in House for sale

    Hi

I am looking at a house for sale at the moment, relatively new build 2007. It had a ground source heat pump installed but the pump has been removed (either stolen or sold off).

I see lots of stories about poorly installed pumps.

What would the best way of getting a cost of reinstatement be?
Can any heat pump be fitted to any ground loop?

Is there any decent source of reputable heat pump installers around with a view to getting a couple of quotes?

    Any advice most appreciated.

    Regards
    DP

I can recommend a really helpful fellow, not sure if he's part of a company or not but was recommended via the company who sells the heat pump and will drive down from Dublin (he's even did a few things over the phone like advise on how to get pressure up and so forth). I'll PM to you. If he can't help he should be able to point you in the right direction.
