Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Can you apply for JSA while receiving JSB?

My contract ends next month, so will likely have to file a new claim

Based on 2011, I'd only get the minimum JSB rate [job didn't declare my proper work hours / taxes]

But usually get JSB a lot sooner than JSA. If I sign on to JSB, can I get means tested for JSA, and move over to that if it's higher, and approved?

Can't afford to go with no payment at all for months

It can be done. Make sure, when you lodge your claim, to ask to have an optional Jobseeker's Allowance claim opened also. You should then qualify for whichever rate is higher.

I would also follow up with Revenue/DSP the employer that understated hours/earnings. It will affect any claims made during 2013.
