Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Apple iphone/apple tv/Sony CMT-MX700i.

    Hi Folks,

    I am looking to play music from spotify on my iphone wirelessly to my sony cmt-mx700i stereo.

    I can play music from my laptop from windows media player through my wifi through the stereo.

    1st question can anyone tell me is it possible to play the iphone through the stereo wirelessly? the iphone is connected to the same wifi.

    2nd question which is perhaps simpler is- if I buy apple tv, can I play spotify through the wifi to the stereo? im thinking the answer is probably the same ie no as apple probably have some kind of protection against this.

    But any help would be appreciated. The stereo has a lan port and usb...
    obviously if it is possible it would be great if you could tell me how :)

    If you route the apple tvs audio through your hifi you can play wirelessly to Apple TV. Prob is the ATV only has an HDMI out and an optical out. Your hifi will need to have one of these inputs

    If your Sony doesn't have an optical in - your tv might have a audio out - Apple TV -> TV -> amp
