Am I seeing an inline mic/volume, meaning it'll work with my phone?

I don't think so. Look at the jack.

    Not your ornery onager

Lifehacker cannot recommend these enough. They discouraged people paying loads with postage and the like to get them, but this could be good.

    Thanks.

Delivery costs is more than the earphone itself :(

You need to throw them in with something else, or else use Parcel Motel.

I've used my Irish address but with the Belfast post code a few times with amazon to avoid the postage costs and its worked. I've done it again this time with the earphones

    Very interesting.

Have you ever had anything go missing or refuse to ship?

I put in 3 separate orders with Amazon using the Belfast postcode and I've gotten them all. I've used it a good few times on play.com also, they cancelled a few of my orders but I got refunded

Pictures 3 and 5 on amazon do show an inline mic.

Go into Amazon and to the Your Account page. Scroll down to the Settings section of the page, go to Address Book and Add A New Address. End result should look like this.

No need for Parcel Motel with Flubit. Only through Amazon.

    Edit: Ignore that.

So if you get a price from flubit you can use your normal address and still get free delivery?

That's not true. Flubit is for UK users in the UK. They don't operate in Ireland. Read the terms of the website. The offer you got gives free shipping in the UK only.

Sorry about that. Haven't completed an order yet and assumed it was free since it told me it was.:o

Sorry for the (seemingly) daft question, but.. are these, 'over the ear' earbuds. You wear them 'upside down', with the wire facing up? ..or rather, you pass it over and down behind the ear?

OK.. apologies. I see from the product page that they are.

Note for other boardsies. See below.

Monoprice are taking the piss with this on their site, though..
Note: For best results these earphones should be broken in by playing pink noise through them for about 24 hours. The difference in sound quality before and after the pink noise break-in period can be quite dramatic.

I thought "burn in" periods are commonly accepted as good practice by many audiophiles?

Not sure if I subscribe to the view myself but it seems like it's a common enough practice.

'Burning in' has been somewhat taken at merit. some audiophiles very much believe in it, I'm not so sure. I have a high end pair of cans and I didnt hear much of a difference between out of the box and say a week later.

It is though an 'industry term'. So, no, they are not taking the piss.
