    Was up that way today and Some Like It Hot Kebab joint and Quinns Off Licence (next door)...Shutters Down ! Both Closed at 5 pm today ? Loved those kebabs ! Sad !

    Seriously? Some Like It Hot and that Offie are gone months? I haven't been to either in a little while but didn't think it was months.

    This makes me sad. Especially Some Like It Hot being gone. :(

    As far as I know. Both joints where owned by the Quinn Group on transfer to the bank, the bank closed down the off license and upped the rent on Some Like It Hot, they couldn't not afford it so had to shut the doors.

    In fairness, Quinns had an terrible, terrible selection.

    And it's not as if there were few choices for fast food in Drumcondra. Or few off-licences for that matter. We'll just have to walk the extra 50 metres for our pizza and Coors Light from now on.
