Comparative theme and issue?

I have done the cultural context one and now I am planning this but is it like different themes per paragraph or just one deep discussion of a single theme? How would one get comparisons out of the latter especially? How many comparisons roughly, realize it is difficult to answer this, would one need for a comparative…

Not sure about how many comparisons but for the theme bit, we were told you just deal with one theme and that then you could talk about its opposite aswell, like if your main theme is love you can put in two or three paragraphs on hate if its evidient in your texts!
