Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Traps so old he remembers when subs weren't allowed . Someone remind him .

It's like he afraid to make a bold decision incase we are beaten. Get the feeling he would be happy with a draw

Coleman is fantastic. Has hardly put a foot wrong all night. One close-run thing off a back-pass and that's it.

Don't believe Hoolahan would be much use in a situation like this. They're starting to bully us in midfield; we need more energy and bite in there.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 32,044 ✭✭✭✭~Rebel~

    Ok...seriously...beyond a joke now - make change!
Sammon is ****ed and we just cant hang onto it in midfield. Crying out for Wes - an outball in the centre who can win back just a few seconds for the supporting players.

  • Registered Users Posts: 14,193 ✭✭✭✭Kerrydude1981

Ah lads this is cat,few fellas can barely move,Trap will you make a change ffs

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,561 ✭✭✭Duff

FFS get Wes on soon, or else this will end up 2-2.

    He'll probably take Long off.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 32,044 ✭✭✭✭~Rebel~

15 - 20 minutes is too long to try to hold out under this pressure.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,309 ✭✭✭T-K-O

Sammon has done a job for us but he looks tired, come on trap

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 932 ✭✭✭Yillan

Wes could keep the ball and pass it around a bit. Sammon still looking like a.... fish out of water?

I'm under no illusion in thinking I'm the first person to make that joke in this thread

it's this sort of shít that písses people off about Trap.

the team was set up fine. the players have played for him. they now need his help, and he's doing nothing.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,968 ✭✭✭aindriu80

I know we are trying to settle for the 2-1.. Its too close to watch

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 32,044 ✭✭✭✭~Rebel~

Would bring on both Hoolahan and Doyle to be honest, for Walters and Sammon.

In fairness Sammon has been very good. Very hard worker.

Would love to know what he was giving out there when the camera zoomed in on hm on the sidelines

Is Hoolahan even warming up? Sammon and Walters are knackered at this stage.

The yellows the Austrians should have gotten compared to the yellows we've gotten *facepalm*

I'd bring on Green Hoolahan and Doyle.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 32,044 ✭✭✭✭~Rebel~

I know they're only the Faroes, but still, much rather not be missing 2 of our best players...

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 32,044 ✭✭✭✭~Rebel~

I'd bring on Green Hoolahan and Doyle.

    can only make 2 changes...

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,561 ✭✭✭Duff

I'd bring on Green Hoolahan and Doyle.

    Can't make four subs.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,592 ✭✭✭baldbear

This dithering from Trapps about making a change might be cost

I'd bring on Green Hoolahan and Doyle.

Then we'd be deducted points for using too many subs.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 45,630 ✭✭✭✭Mr.Nice Guy

Hoolahan's presence would be futile in a situation like this; his primary function is to allow others get forward, such as the full-backs, which will not be happening in this situation.

There's more chance of McCarthy being pushed up where Sammon is and Green coming on to slot in where McCarthy has been up to now.

Edit: might be happening now. No, took Long off instead. Guess Sammon goes up top.

And this is why Trap is a useless out-of-touch dinosaur.

By letting the lads run themselves into the ground rather than bringing on fresh legs, he's just inviting the Austrians on.

It'll end 2-2 if this stays like this... (Green??)

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 6,075 ✭✭✭IamtheWalrus

    2-2, nailed on.
